DCA access program
In 2005, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) enacted the DCA Access Standard Security Program to allow certain general aviation aircraft to apply for access to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), which had previously been restricted since 2001. The program requires that all flights into or departing from DCA to have an Armed Security Officer (ASO) aboard.
Jet Professionals has been at the forefront of this initiative and provided the ASO on the inaugural flight into DCA when it reopened to general aviation in 2005.
