Certification Engineer

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Lead and manage a variety of Certification Projects with particular emphasis in the development of new Supplemental Type Certificates, amendments to existing Supplemental Type Certificates, and revisions to existing approved data.</font>

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Required tasks will include but not be limited to:</font>

• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Development of Certification Plans, project applications, conformity plans, conformity indices, compliance reports, and managing the development of substantiating data.</font>
• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Responsible for tracking cost and managing schedule.</font>
• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Responsible for managing all aspects of the certification effort and performance to schedule.</font>
• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Responsible for collateral duties as assigned.</font>

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3">It is anticipated that the incumbent is motivated to work towards designation as a DAS Administrative AR and DAS Engineering AR as appropriate to background and experience.</font>

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3">This position will report to Manager, Certification Engineering; Responsible to DAS Administrator for all DAS related activity. Incumbent will be expected to manage both on-site and offsite activity across a variety of disciplines.</font>

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:</font>

• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Have demonstrated leadership and management skills. </font>
• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Candidates must have verifiable experience and history in managing projects and people from project start to successful completion.</font>
• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Strong writing skills are required.</font>
• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Project is required.</font>
• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Familiarity with FAA regulations, Orders, and policy guidance is highly desired.</font>
• <font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Bachelors Degree or equivalent.</font>
