Avionics Technician

Jet Professionals is seeking a qualified individual for a position located in Illinois as Avionics Technician.  Relocation will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

 Qualified candidates must be able to:

• Perform operation checks and troubleshoot complex avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and pitot/static systems
• Perform airframe electrical repairs and service bulletins
• Troubleshoot, repair and install complex avionics electrical systems to a variety of corporate jet aircraft, while maintaining all required documentation
• Operate pitot/static tests and perform ground and flight test procedures on avionic systems.
• Be able to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Additional duties may be assigned

 Qualified candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years as Technician/Installer experience on business aircraft.
• Global Express experience is preferred
• Have at least 8 years of avionics experience in the military
• Must be self-motivated and exhibit good attention to detail
• Possess the ability to communicate and interact with inter-company personnel in a clear and professional manner.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends, often with little notice, as the workload schedules require.
• A&P Certificate preferable but not required.
